Born on December 14, in Iriga City, Camarines Sur, Philippines. Luz studied at the Philippine Women's University College of Music and Fine Arts.  
 
Luz has worked her entire life as music instructor, teaching the rudiments of music and the piano to both children and adults. 
 
As the Music Conductor for SOSA, Luz teaches the Bandurria, Octabina, Laud, Guitar and Ukulele and other instruments, along with coordinating the Choral Group.  

Luz believes that SOSA's Music Program tells members that it is OK to explore new things and tell the world that you can still discover things in life that are yet to be explored, like playing the Ukulele!
